Are you in Woodstock and want a fantastic dinner experience? This is the place to be ! Came here to celebrate my partners birthday and it did not disappoint ! Here’s my experience: Let me say that the service was amazing. We had a waiter named Steve who was exceptional! Would come back based on his service alone. Pros: •Service •Atmosphere •Cocktails were up to par and I recommend the Irish coffee at the end. •Food was filling and appetizers were a hit and definitely a great shareable item Cons: •entree of the five spice duck was average compared to the appetizers
I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at Good Night! I had the fried shrimp, poached chicken dumplings and grilled trout. While every dish was delicious- the trout was unquestionably the start of the show! The staff were wonderful, the ambience was cozy and the food was delectable.
My boyfriend and I came here on a Monday right before the kitchen closed and the staff were soooo nice and welcoming and we sat in the backyard and the best time with the best food and best server SOFIA she was a literal angel.. would come back 10x over had best experience. Really great experience here! We had waited a while to come here because it is somewhat expensive but find it to be quite worth it. The appetizers are the way to go! We got the ribs, shrimp/shishito, and tteok-bokki. All were delicious and novel takes. Portions are a great size, unexpectedly so! We were full after 3 appetizers between two people. Got the trout to share as a main and loved it. Very light and flavorful. The service is fantastic - nice people. The ambience is quite nice. The music is reasonable and relaxed while the lighting makes for a good date spot. We are excited to come back.
My wife and I would often come up to Woodstock from Brooklyn to see friends. And on a couple of occasions I saw goodnight from the outside which looks cozy and always a steady stream of people. So we decided to stop by goodnight on one of our visits. It did not disappoint! We sat at the bar next to another married couple. Unbeknownst to us the husband was making two rings out of dollar bills. And gave it to us . It was a kind gesture . The ambiance is really classy and natural. We enjoyed our drinks and the staff was great. It also happened to be our first date anniversary.
We went to Good Night for dinner on a Tuesday recently and it was a great experience. The vibe of this place is great. It really felt like a cool, upscale dining. We were pleasantly surprised to see how many people were there that night, which helped contribute to the atmosphere. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive. We started with the Tteok Bokki and Crispy Wild Shrimp with Shishito peppers. We also got the Bibimbap and the Vietnamese steak frites. The flavors throughout this meal were well developed and delicious. The Tteok Bokki was so special and cheesy and delicious. Almost like a chewy rice noodle Asian Mac and cheese vibe. The wild shrimp dish was great. The components were all great, what was super surprising was how amazing the shishito peppers were. It was the best bite of that dish, which is saying a lot. The mains were equally as good. The flavors were all there. The steak was tender and delicious. The bibimbap was so good. We happily took home our leftovers. Overall, it was a great experience. It was a good price, given how well everything was executed, and I would happily come back either just for cocktails and apps or for the full meal.
Hands down the best food we’ve had in Woodstock. Beautiful ambience and the best service - our waitress was Lenay, she was awesome and had the perfect suggestions. Incredible apps - get the miso Caesar and poached chicken dumplings (the sauce for the dumplings, drink it! It’s that good, I swear). We shared the Korean BBQ entree - this was a perfect for two meal. THEN dessert - the toasted ice cream… omg absolutely spectacular, give me 14 of them. If you’re nearby, you need to come here!
We went for our anniversary dinner and it was FANTASTIC!!! unbelievable food at literally every course, linguini and clams, and pork ribs were insaneeeee. The service was beyond great, our waitress was so friendly and helpful with the menu and recommendations, she truly made the night. Beyond beautifully decorated inside and out, atmosphere was so warm and inviting. 10/10
Lovely spontaneous visit, initially intended for a drink or two, turned out instead for dinner. Back to the bar, the mixologist looks and sounds like Jason Bateman, and he sure knows his cocktails and how to make them right. The tamarind margarita was a great opener to what became a full on dinner. The crispy shrimps and the steak with chimichuri sauce were simply delightful. No doubt the dining room was decently busy on a quiet Tuesday evening. And it got recommended to me by a nearby store keeper…
